Secunderabad, is located in Hyderabad, India. The geographic specialty of this place is that it is divided by a man made lake, Husain Sagar, from the capital of Andhra Pradesh. This place is named after Sikandar Jah, the third Nizam of the Asaf Jahi dynasty, due to which it had its very own government until recently when it merged with Hyderabad. However, now a days this place is hardly been called as Secunderabad, most of the time it is referred to as Hyderabad.
