Cleo Rocos was born Cleopatra Anderson Rocos on 24 July 1962, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
She started working on TV in Britain in the 1980s, appearing in hit series The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy as well as frequently working with late comedian Kenny Everett. It was on his show that she first became well known, becoming a national sex symbol. She was a close friend of Everett - they were even briefly engaged - and has since written a book about him (published in 1998.)
After working with Everett, Rocos had quite a varied career. She has presented a travel show called Cleo Worldwide, and produced an edition of TV show The Comic Strip in 2005. She has also appeared on the stage and does some radio work in London.
At the moment Cleo Rocos is in the Big Brother house, and seems to have a good chance of winning.
