Shale is a very weak rock that crumbles very easily. It is NOT used for pool tables (Pool tables are made from slate.) or in computers. It can sometimes be used as decorative stone or paving stones for garden paths and is used in the manufacture of bricks. But other than that, it isn't used for much.
