Functions like Coughing, sneezing and Hiccuping are simple relexes. They are controlled and initiated by Medulla Oblongata. Medulla Oblongata is part of the Hind Brain.

The Trochlear nerve is a type of cranial nerve that carries the information form eyes to the brain and the part of the brain that controls eye movement is called midbrain also called mesencephalon. This is where the cranial nerves originate from and it controls eye movement and eyelid opening.

There is a part of the brain called the Medulla Oblongata which is responsible for breathing and vision. This is also known as the little brain. It acts like a relay station for the brain !

The left side controls all the above besides running because I'm not sure what side controls actions but I think its still the left

There are 3 cranial nerve nuclei in the brain responsible for eye movements.  The Third cranial nerve, the Oculomotor nerve nucleus. The Forth nerve nucleus the Trochlear, and the Sixth nerve nucleus the abducens nerve.
