Because there are dangerous animals, its too hot , there isn't water, no trees,no food, except for the animals that you can find (if you can) and cook them, it hardly rains there and  theres no shade to hid in, or if you build a house, there won t be wood plus nothing can ever be grown, no rain? No soil? Yes thats why nothing can be grown! Hopefully I helped who ever is reading this/read :D thank you! & your welcome!

It is difficult for humans to live in the desert as it is usually too hot to bare, there is little water as it hardly ever rains. Trees can't be grown as there isn't any soil to grow them in. There is practically no shade and there is minimal amounts of food as it hardly rain meaning nothing can be grown.

First, the temperature does not settle down. Daytime, it is too hot. Night time, it is too cold.

Second, There is no water, little food, no anything can be grown up or existed for a long time.

Third, there is amount of dust, sand in the desert.

It is too hot, no water and other resourses. It has a higher risk of death. You can build houses and if you build it ; it wouldnt be wood.
