Copper sulfate reacts with sodium carbonate to form sodium sulfate and copper carbonate. It is a double displacement reaction.

CuSO4 ------ > Cu+2 + SO4-2

Na2CO3 ------ > 2Na+1 + CO3-2

2Na+1 + SO4-2 ------ > Na2SO4

Cu+2 + CO3-2 ------ > CuCO3

2Na+1 + SO4-2 + Cu+2 + CO3-2 ------ > Na2SO4 + CuCO3

CuSO4 + Na2CO3 ------ > Na2SO4 + CuCO3

One mole of copper sulfate combines with one mole of sodium carbonate to form one mole of sodium sulfate and one mole of copper carbonate.
