The Kingdom of Morocco is the name of a nation located in the northern part of Africa. It houses a population of totally 33,241,259 inhabitants. It possesses a long coast on the Atlantic Ocean which extends past the Strait of Gibraltar and into the Mediterranean Sea. Morocco shares a border with Algeria and a comparatively narrow water border with Spain, otherwise being surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The southern border of the country however, is under dispute.

Morocco is a constitutional monarchy which is the sole African nation which is not presently a part of the African Union. Nonetheless, it is a component of the Arab League, Organisation of the Islamic Conference etc and is also a prominent non-NATO ally.

Culturally speaking, it is a diverse nation boasting of a rich heritage and culture, which have their roots in many civilizations such as the Phoenicians, Jews, Arabs, Romans, and Moors etc.
