Condensation is a process by which vapour or gas is converted into liquid. Water vapours which are present in air becomes due to climatic conditions. It is converted into liquids which ultimately forms clouds. The condensation of water will only take place if it condenses on any other surface. The surface is has to be cooler than that of the water vapour. Alternatively the water vapour equilibrium in the air should exceed. The process of condensation results in the formation of clouds and fogs. Precipitation also takes place.
Precipitation results when the condensation occurs so much that the air is not able to hold the water any more. Clouds become heavy and then the water from the cloud falls on the earth in the form of rain, hail or snow. The fallen water accumulates into the earth and becomes ground water which gets evaporated and results in the continuation of the water cycle.
