Animals have large ears in the deserts because in the desert, there is only little bit of animals. So with their large ears they can hear whatever animal is there nearby so that they can eat it.

Animal in the desert have large ears as one of their adaptive features in-which it will help them to ear from far and near and also they use it to ear the sound of predators, which might want to prey on them. Their ears are mostly large and floppy because of their environmental condition.
