What Are The Hardware Requirements To Get Onto The Communication Media?

Harrdware requirements for data communication means hardware required for interfacing the different commmunication equipments like multiplexer, switches communication controllers ,routers , hub ,etc to estblish an appropriate communication as per standard protocal of the system  through differnt media may be UTP cables, coaxial cables , OFC, wireless communication system.
