There are a number of effects which water shortages have caused like problems in Industrial, agricultural and household consumption. However, I think agricultural sector is severely affected by this shortage. For more clarification I am giving an example. People of China in some regions have faced extreme water shortages. As a result of that shortages, they have gotten poor harvests. It is believed by the people of that region that the region is changing in a desert and there will be no agriculture in that areas after next 35 years. Most of the people always think that problems are only faced in the developing countries but I will like to give example of Southern England, which has been facing serious issues from water shortages.
The whole idea is that although all of the fields of life are severely affected with water shortages but I think agricultural sector is the most affected sector.
