Acid rain is produced because of the pollution of the environment due to various sources. The basic way of preventing Acid rain is to reduce the emissions form various sources including mining, oil operations, generation of electricity and oil based transport vehicles. We should reduce activities that result in the production of nitrogen and carbon dioxide. These activities include burning natural gas and even wood. Decreasing the amount of chlorofluorocarbons and sulfur can also aid in the prevention. To reduce emissions from the car we can reduce the use of private cars and start using public transportation and energy conservation.
