Oldbury, England is a town in the metropolitan county of the West Midlands, with a population of 11,000 people. The town is situated between the city of Birmingham and Dudley, with the city of Wolverhampton located to its north west.

Oldbury is the administrative centre of the borough of Sandwell, West Midland, and is inside the loosely-defined area known as the Black Country.

Oldbury had traditionally been located in the county of Shropshire, but this changed in 1844 when the county boundaries were altered and the town came under the administration of Warwickshire. The introduction of the Local Government Act 1972 removed Oldham from Warwickshire's authority and instead created the metropolitan county of the West Midlands.

Oldbury is the name of a village in the west of England to the north west of London and a mile or so south of the town of Bridgnorth. The church of Saint Nicholas is located in the village and is famous for its stained glass work. A bibilical scene is depicted on one of the windows.

Oldbury-on-Severn the site of a nuclear power station is a small village in the west of England. It lies within South Glocestershire on the mouth of the Severn River.
