Warwick is situated 11 miles south of Coventry and 3 miles west of Leamington Spa. The town is connected by junctions 13, 14 and 15 to the M40 London to Birmingham motorway, and is positioned on the A46 trunk road between Stratford-upon-Avon and Coventry.

History
The site has been inhabited for thousands of years and Warwick was an important town in the Anglo Saxon Kingdom of Mercia.
