Yes temperature affects crystal growth a lot. The crystals grow faster when the jars are preheated and not as fast as when they are ice cold. If you don't preheat or ice them it messes the whole experiment up.
Well... From what I have heard YES! Heat will make the crystals grow larger and quicker... But if they are placed in the fridge than it will still grow, just not as fast as in heat. The crystals grown in the cooler temps. Will be more smooth and perfect.
Heat: Faster but more chunky and sharp
Cooler air: Slower but more smooth and perfect

I agree with everything that has been said especially what Cheerleada had mentioned. I am actually doing a science fair project on this. I am placing one crystal solution in a refrigerator and the other one in room temperature. But yes, temperature affects a crystal's growth A LOT.
This will help you understand:
Room Temperature = Faster but more crystals in chunks
Cold Temperature = Slower but more smaller pieces stuck together

This is a very hard question, to verify it, you must have a control.Use different temperatures in different climates, such as room temp, fridge etc.
It affects the growth of sugar and salt crystals.
Yes it does because if theres heat the water will dissolve faster
The crystals that are in the cold will grow slower. The ones in the hot will grow fast.
Yes most sites say it has not been tested but it is true
Yes. The hot water makes the process of crystallization faster.
