Micro-organisms which live in human body like bacteria, fungi and archaea, can have beneficial non beneficial or harmful effects. Those micro-organisms which does not cause harmful effects under the normal conditions are called normal flora.
Among the bacteria flora, there can be 500 to 100000 species which live in human body. These can be in eyes, skin, mouth, colon, small intestine and nose. Majority of these bacteria live in large intestine. Bacteria of digestive tract called gut flora. Usually these bacteria are commensal bacteria are anaerobes but not all species.
