There are three different cell shapes that you see in epithelial tissue. The nuclei of these cells also reflect their shape. The first shape is "squamous" which is a cell that is flatter than it is wide. The second shape is "cuboidal" which is a cell that is as tall as it is round. The last shape is "columnar" which is a cell that is taller than it is wide.
