Egypt is the driest country in the world. In some parts of Egypt rain never falls but the country isn't short of water because the River Nile runs right through the middle of the country. Higher up the Nile is the Aswan Dam behind which is Lake Nasser and about 20 years supply of water if the Nile stopped flowing.
