There are several types of erosion. Such as in cars, the break down of the metal, causing rust. Then there is erosion due to lack of vegetation. Some countries are loosing much of their farm land and it is turning into desert eroding due to high winds. There is also the example of erosion, as in teeth eroding, cavities, causing loss teeth, etc. So erosion is basically something altered for the worse by outside elements
