Protozoan is a fairly loose definition but it could be said true protozoans are single celled animals. (though there is some overlap between protozoans, algae, and fungi). They move around, they hunt and eat bacteria, they eat through a mouth pore and expel waste through an anal pore. Well, not all of them but as I said it'a a fairly loose definition.
