Any soil should work..as long as you keep it moist and keep the seed approx 1/2 inch under the soil with light soil on top..just like many seeds marijuana can adapt to many soils..if you want the best results try to find somewhere where waste is put to compost. Use the dirt beneath as it is packed with tons of nutrients.if the seed isn't germinated before you plant it there is low success. Miracle grow and other fertilizers also work very well to speed up the growing process

In most cases soil is not used as it does not work with a Flushing system, my advise it to read up on growing techniques, be remember actually doing it is illegal.
