The three well known divisions of science are chemistry, biology and physics. These are well known as they are taught in most educational establishments, particularly in the earlier part of education. They cover the three parts of science that are deemed the most important, as there are many other kinds of science which are incredibly complex and requires master's degrees and Ph.Ds to be able to work in those respective fields properly.

Chemistry is a study of molecules and chemicals in science. Molecules are the small particles that make up all of the matter in the universe, and they are able to make many different kinds of substances including chemicals. It looks at the study of materials and chemical reactions and will have students experimenting with different substances and what can be done with them to turn them into other substances. It is most commonly associated with Bunsen burners and things like test tubes, as these are some of the most common pieces of apparatus.

Biology is the study of life. Biology looks at all the different kinds of life that appear on the earth and of course looks at how they live and remain healthy. Many people associate it with plants and animals but biology is also the importance study of human life. Doctors and heart surgeons and anyone else that deals with human life will have studied biology at university. This is because a full understanding of life and how the human body works is required before anybody can even consider trying to help a person with an illness.

Physics is the study of energy and how things work. It is most commonly associated with outer space. This is astrophysics and it looks at how the laws of motion and energy work within a vacuum and outside of planet earth - though physics occurs all the time down here on earth.
