Muscles are basically a type of tissue and they are derived from the mesodermal layer of the embryonic germ cells. There are three different types of muscles in a human body which are as follows:
- Skeletal Muscle: Is voluntary muscle that is anchored by tenbdons to the bone and provides help in skeletal movement and locomotion.
-Smooth Muscle: Is involuntary muscle and it is not under conscious control of the man. It is found in walls of various organs.
- Cardiac Muscle: It is also an involuntary muscle but is found only within the heart.
