Does Tsunami Kill The Marine Life?

For as long as I am concerned it does because the strength of a normal Tsunami would be able to devastate the whole marine area if the area is near enough the surface. But some animals have a sense which predict/senses the pre-vibrations of the floor a tsunami would cause. With this ability, some of the fishes/marine life (if large and fast enough) would be able to escape the area and alert the life around so that the most of the enviroment around would escape if able to.
