Port Marion is an Italianate model village (full-sized) located in North Wales. It is best known as the location for the filming of the 1960's cult series The Prisoner. The sea side resort town is an attractive whimsical creation of an architect which is well worth a stopover. Visitors to the area even have the option of renting some buildings and staying there.

North Wales is typically rural and has a number of mountains and valleys. Its landscape along with the Irish Sea coast has made certain that tourism is its chief industry.

You can visit the dazzling mountain of Snowdonia with its breathtaking views or the beautiful coastline which offers activities such as horse riding, mountain climbing, hiking, golf, sailing, canoeing, quad biking woodland rambling, and even painting. The region has plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to offer visitors.
