Chesham is a city that is located in the Chiltern Hills, Buckinghamshire, England. There is also a Chesham in Bury, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom and a Chesham, New Hampshire in the USA. It is the fourth biggest city in the county of Buckinghamshire. It is located in the striking Chess Valley and also shares borders with farmland, and is also surrounded on one side by Amersham and Chesham Bois. The places that surround Chesham are Bovingdon, Bellingdon, Amersham Berkhamsted, High Wycombe and Hemel Hempstead. It is approximately 25 miles North West of central London.

The main industries here are brush and boot compared to early years the main industry comprised of beer, brushes, boots and watercress. The main river that rises from the springs is the River Chess, which flows along Waterside and towards Latimer and then from Pednor Vale and the Vale.
