If you are taking about a cubic yard, it is 40.5 80lb bags. A bag of 80lb concrete is roughly 2/3 cubic ft.

A cubic yard is 3 ft x 3 ft x 3 ft = 27 cubic ft.

27 cubic ft / .6666 cubic ft = ~80.5

1 yard is 9 square feet and 0.9144 meter. You will need about 7 bags of Quikrete concrete. But this is also subjective. It depends on weather you are building a 4" or a 6" slab. If you are building a 4" slab you will need 7 bags of concrete, 60 pounds each, or 6 bags of concrete, 80 pounds each.

If you plan to build a 6" slab you will need 10 bags of concrete, 60 pounds each or 8 bags, 80 pound each. These figures are approximate and do not include allowance for uneven sub grade, waste etc.

Bad answer. Cubic yards are a measure of volume, not area. Each 80-pound bag of Quikrete will make about 2/3 cubic feet. There are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard, therefore you need 40-1/2 bags of concrete.
