Right number- wrong unit of time ! As stated in my comment on the first answer.Venus takes 224 Earth days to complete 1 orbit of the Sun and 243 Earth days to revolve once on its own axis. TRUST ME !

I would say it takes 225 days to complete one year and it takes 5 months and 18 days to get to venus!

I can't give an exact time, but I can say that it's a very long time, for a Venus day is longer than a Venus year. Weird, isn't it?

It takes about 224 days to go round the sun (year) but 243 days to complete 1 revolution on its own axis (day)

Approximately 243 (Earth) days to complete 1 rotation ie, a Venusian 'day'. Curiously, it takes 19 fewer days to complete an orbit of the Sun, so a Venusian 'day' is longer than a Venusian 'year' !!
