The planet Mercury is the fastest in the solar system, It orbits the sun in just 88 days traveling at speeds of around 50km per second.

Mars moves at around 99.23mph or approximately 159 km/s relative to tthe sun. Mercury only wins because it has the inside lane. On a stright track Mars would smoke Mercury, then bathe in its blood.
