I think that global warming can kill us. NOT just us but also animals plants and insects. I think that we should step up to the plate and do what is in our hands! Who knows maybe in some time there will be nobody left in the world. We should also write to the congress or start a petition to put a stop to global warming.Sometimes I feel like crying because I am just a kid! I think what about the people of the future.Next thing you know there will be no future.Who have had thought that with creating technology its like if we were killing our selfs. Many scientist think that there will be no earth in 100 years.PLEASE help the world.Global warming is not only caused by 1 person.Do what is in your hands to help the world. ITS UP TO YOU MAKE A DIFFRENCE !

Yes it can kill us if we don't put a stop to it if it doesnt kill our generation it will kill the next so the way we can prevent it is by using the three R's I'm sure you hear that every where and you think its a bunch of bologna but ever since people started doing it things have really improved a lot!! If every person did it just think what it would be like then.

"We should also write to the congress or start a petition to put a stop to global warming"

yeah because congress is in direct control of global warming... If you want to reduce global warming YOU have to do it.

First off, the past few thousand years has been the most stable the climate has ever been, before humans there was constant weather changes, giant storms, etc.

Global warming/ cooling is a natural thing, its just as sure as death.

A lot of people think that global warming isn't serious because "people would be talking about it and it would be on the news". There has been so many reports on global warming in the past 50 years, people don't even bother paying attention to it anymore because it hasn't directly affected them, and wont in their lifetime. The news stations get better ratings and views from reporting on how much Brittany spears hair sold for on ebay, then they would another report on global warming. The media is in no way obligated to broadcast the most important stuff.

People are saying global warming isn't real, while we have italy and switzerland changing their borders because of the melting/moving ice glaciers that has always been a natural marker.

We cannot stop global warming, but we can reduce drastically.

Don't believe the media, or politicians about global warming. The scientists are the ones you need to tune into.

To add to jomar answer which is very very realistic, is that ( in the religion point of view) changes like a lot of people now are talking and studying about what the bible mean and said. It was said that time will come that God or Jesus Christ or the Mission or the Word is going to come back to us. He will show or we will feel it when the time is almost coming but of course we don not know exactly when. But signs that men will not have an swear to what causing bizzare changes unnaturally is one of them.  But one thing I notice is that, nowadays, people get sick like chronic illnesses at the early age, which I relate to global warming. A lot of people are angrier these days and seems hard to control agitation on some. Global means around the globe, so not only around where you live.

Global warming can actually kill us. Not US because it will take millions of years to melt. But the last people on earth will probably not be the last people on earth. The astronauts of the future are now thinking ahead and want to find a planet which is similar to Earth where we can breath move and have food and water. Global warming will eventually flood the earth as the ice is melting and there is so much ice it will overflow, everywhere and anywhere where there is ice it will flood. Hope this is helpful.

Well I strongly agree. Global warming can kill us. I have been doing research for 2 years or more and yes it can kill us if it gets out of control

We are talking about the temperature here, after all. Remember those times when we walked outside and it was so hot, we immediately stepped back into the house? Well imagine that at physically dangerous levels. Another issue is the ozone layer, it can only be described as a protective skin...such as that on an orange. Now imagine how long an orange lasts outside in the sunlight, then take the skin off of the orange and that is our earth minus the ozone layer. For those of you who take "the well we all got to die sometime excuse", imagine that orange as your child, your wife, your mother or father... It is a serious issue, and the fact is, no one wants to talk about it because it is COSTLY to fix! Thats our species for you, destroy the only planet we have to live on if it'll save us a few bucks! Eventually all the low to sea level places will flood as water from the ice caps drowns them, then, when the atmosphere truly begins to boil... Those nearest the equator will feel the effects first, from skin disorders to heat strokes. They will have to move away from the sunlight. Then increased radiation levels will cause tens of thousands of people to develop various cancers.  Eventually we will have to avoid daylight hours all together, as our planet slowly becomes a desert we will have to move underground and try to survive off of resources there. Many will not survive, but I don't believe we will all die.

Global warming is a very controversial topic across the world, today. When someone asks, What causes global warming you get about as many answers as there are people you ask. Some say cars, trucks, lawnmowers and all types of motors used outdoors causes pollution. Some say it from the smoke and debri coming from smoke stacks associated with all types of power plants, factories and manufacturing plants, across the world. Some say it is from dumping nuclear waste, chemicals and all sorts of debri into the rivers, streams and oceans around the world. Some say it is caused by all the chemicals used to treat crops of all kinds across the world. Some say all of these are causes of Global warming.

All of the answers above could have some part in global warming, therefore none of them is the only answer. The one thing all agree on is we humans, probably have some share of responsibility, in the speed with which global warming seems to be traveling.

Over ten years ago a committee of scientists and watchdog types, came together saying, they would find the answers and stop global warming. Recently, I heard the head of this group talking in an interview. I had to smile, when I heard her say, we will end global warming, in the next ten years. All I can say is we will see, if she is right.

You asked also, Will global warmig kill us? There again the answer is not a definite one. However, when we know things such as, along the river near where I live, there are about seven large factory smoke stacks from which smoke and debri clouds are seen day after day.

In one small neighborhood along the river, in home after home we find one or more children and adults dying of cancer. So, I am inclined to say yes, Global warming caused by polluted air containing cancer causing elements can kill us. Drinking water, in which cancer causing chemicals are found can kill us. Food treated with cancer causing chemicals can kill us.
This is all called the Greenhouse effect of gas and chemical emissions. We can change this situation.

There have always been, climate changes on the earth due to the earth's orbit around the sun. The closer to the sun we are the warmer it is, and the farther from the sun the cooler it is. For example, when I was young California was almost always very hot year round. Today, much of California is cold in some areas, which were once warm. This has happened because the orbit of the earth has caused the sun to be farther away from California. The orbit of the earth has also caused the sun to be closer to Iceland and the ice glaciers of the world, which are melting from the heat of the sun. We cannot do anything about this part of global warming, it is in God's hands.

Why does everyone think were going to all die? I mean technology is increasing, so if the world is going to end in about 100 years, we will probably be able to stop that. And all this crap about the world ending in 2012 is just a load of non-sense. They said the world would end in 2000 and the 70's. Its all to make money. Even if the ice caps did melt. Who's to say that we would all die?

When global does happen we wont die straight away we run low on food, oil and alll other stuff and global warming wont happen for another 100 years so no need to worry and if it does happen so what we wear going to die out anyway from the sun dying out so and your third question is well we either starve, freeze to death or people turning on their own kind if you watch The Day After Tommorow you see

Yes,Global Warming will kill us if we don't do anything to prevent it.Global Warming cannot be stopped, and even if we could stop it no-one would! Global warming is a natural phenomenon that has been taking place for millions of years, enabling our existence. Without global worming the temperatures would be too low for us to survive. Take for example the melting of the ice sheets, if global warming was not taking place we would still be covered in ice.But its also important to note that global warming is not so good, as there is the melting of the ice sheets in Antarctica, leading to the rise in sea level. So global warming can only be slowed down.RV Rentals

Everyone needs to look into the chemtrail issue. If you don't know what it is, google chemtrails, haarp clouds, NWO or visit the chemtrailtrackingusa yahoo group. And start looking up. This is going on right in front of us.

Rcraw...Yea don't listen to whomever is telling you that... Yes there is global warming, but it is a natural process. Temperature Rises and Falls throughout the whole time the Earth has been here. Take a look at temperature graphs. We wont all die. Why does everyone think we are going to die? Its so depressing.  And if we were going to die, it would take millions of years. So don't worry about it anyways. And keep in mind that your 14... Grow up some then maybe you will understand.

Heres something really interesting.
How would you explain the warming on Mars? You want to blame humans for that to? Maybe the 2 rovers we sent over there that are run on solar power had something to do with it.

Anyways what I'm trying to say is its a natural process, theres global warming and cooling. Nothing we can do about it. And we wont all die.

Yes its a natural disaster that will happen in a very long time certainly not in your lifetime. The ice caps have already begun to melt and is causing increases in amounts of water so theres flooding in the lowest parts of the world and on coastlines. Yes people have died in tsunamis but thats to be expected we can't all survive everything its not the way the world was made. The most likely cases of events will be an asteroid hitting the earth causing another ice age because of the extra water and nobody will survive the freezing temperatures but there is always someone or something that can survive anything. Its just brief I'm not too keen on the subject and the reason why noone talks about global warming is because the governments in the entire world arent taking it seriously enough and america are the biggest culprits for toxins pumped into the air anyway so they arent just heartless theyre stupid too.

I know where the hell have you been? That was a hot issue for a while, but once everyones finished talking talking about it, they just put the issue out of mind and let our environmental problems (among others) compound. If we as a global pobulation dont do something soon about a lot of things, we could be facing worse ends than global warming, though im not a big fan of the idea of drowning to death due to mass flooding or dying of radiation exposure either...
