An organelle is a subunit of a cell that performs a specific function and has its own lipid membrane. There are two major types of organelles based on which cells they belong to. These are:
Eukaryotic Organelles - which are found in Eukaryotic cells.
Prokaryotes Organelles- which are found in Prokaryote cells.
