There are different categories and types of customers in different types of businesses. There is not any general type of consumers and there are many factors on the basis of consumers can be categorized. Some of the attributes are income groups like low consumer income group, high consumer income group etc. Some attributes include their behaviors, other demographics and psychographics. There is a lot of change in the consumers after globalization and I will explain it with the example of Islamic banking. Before globalization of Islamic banks Muslim community were willing to go for other banks but globalization has changed the concept and induce a need in them. This shows that globalization has also changed the needs and wants of consumers.
