However, if the clouds are dense, they often indicate that a storm might be approaching.
Both Stratus clouds and Cumulus clouds are low-level. Stratus clouds usually bring a drizzle and the there is widespread rain and in some cases ocean air. Cumulus clouds are neutral weather clouds.
