The climate of St Lucia is a typical tropical climate. Moderate trade winds keep blowing from the north-east. From the month of January to April, the season remains very dry. The rainy season lasts from the month of May to the month of November.

St Lucia is an island nation which is situated in the eastern zone of the Caribbean Sea. The Island also shares its boundaries with the Atlantic Ocean. St Lucia lies to the North of the 'Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' Islands. The island is also nick named as the 'Helen of West'.

The capital city of the St Lucia is 'Castries'. The official language spoken in the St Lucia is English. The island attained its independence from the United Kingdom on the 22nd February in the year 1979.
