Palestine has a pleasant climate throughout the year. However the winter months from December, January, February and March can be severe. The hot climate that is characteristic of most of the Middle East is made bearable due to the cool winds originating in the Mediterranean.

It rains mainly during the months of November through April with slight showers in March. Precipitation is fifteen, forty, thirty eight, forty, thirty six and ten millimeters during November, December, January, February, March and April respectively.

Temperatures follow a set pattern throughout the year with minimums of ten degrees Celsius and maximums of thirty five degrees.

The country is characterised by thirteen hours of sunshine during summer and seven hours of sunshine during winter.

Palestine is located in the west of the Middle East alongside the country of Israel.
