Effective communication is very important in an organization, however there are a number of communication barriers which can effect the organization negatively. Firstly, language barriers because of diversity can create misunderstandings among the people. Secondly, rework increases because of communication barriers because documents can be rejected again and again because of unnecessary or over-stuffed details. Thirdly, inappropriate medium can lower the effectiveness of the message. Fourthly there is the issue of red tape in which the message gets passed on to many people and before finally reaching to the desired party, message is changed. Moreover, lengthy process can also creates the time issues and actions are delayed.
