The Caribbean is a region situated close to America; it consists of the Caribbean Sea, its Islands and the nearby coasts. The region is exactly placed towards southeast of North America, east of Central America and towards the north and west of South America.

The Caribbean region generally has warm temperature through out the year the standard temperature is around 28ºC usually the steady trade winds keep the humidity low. These Islands have very little rainfall, and the downpour mainly comes in the form of little showers during the months of October and March.

This area mainly comprises of seven thousand islands, islets, reefs and cayes. Initially there was a country by the name Federation of the West- Indies; it was made up of ten English speaking Caribbean territories but this country did not last for long.
