The groups of islands that constitute the nation of Philippines have a climate that can be termed as hot, humid and tropical and the average annual temperature is around 26.5 degree Celsius.

The seasons here are divided into three categories and in local language called as Tag-init, Tag-ulan and Taglamig.

Tag-nit is the season of hot weather and lasts from March to the month of May. The second one that is named Tag-ulan is the season of rain and the period of this season starts from June and continued till the month of November.
