Neptune has many strong winds and two big storms on it that look like dark spots. The speed of the winds in these two areas can reach up to 730mph. The larger of the two spots is called the Great Dark Spot. These spots can disappear and then appear a while later with no explanation. Neptune has many glaciers and is very icy. The temperature on the planet can be as low as -250 degrees Fahrenheit. Neptune does not have a solid surface, but scientists believe it is made up mostly of hydrogen, helium, water, and silicates.
