1. By limiting deforestation to the maximum extent. 2. By planting more trees 3. By stopping the throwing of waste into the rivers from industries. 4. By avoiding or preventing chemical wastes and exhaust from factories. 5. By preventing or limiting the burning of fossil fuels, smoke from vehicles and the smoke from factories.
Global warming is caused by a gradual rise in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere, caused by rising levels of carbon dioxide emission and greenhouse gases. These damage the ozone layer and reduce its protection from the harmful effects of the sun's rays. It also has the effect of rising sea levels, which has the knock on effect of increasing the risk and frequency of natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes and heat waves. However, there are methods for reducing the damage caused to the Earth, but are at best very difficult to implement worldwide. The most pressing is the reduction of energy use through conservation and a shift from carbon based fossil fuels to alternative energy sources such as solar and wind power. A global agreement of sorts to combat global warming was made through the Kyoto Protocol, in development since 1997. It outlines plans for reducing fuel emission and excessive energy use in developed countries.
The main cause a global warming is the increased rate of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in the earth's atmosphere. Since this both comes from factories and smoking vehicles, the solution could be is to minimize the carbon dioxide release by vehicles and to ban factories emitting an unfair or too much carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. FActories must be regulated and monitored
"NOVA" Said that carbons are the main cause and fossil fuels are the main sorce of them, but not the only one, cause of then!
And IF YOU COULD wave a wand and stop all that instantly, it would then take 50 years to reverse the affect that are here now from the fossil fuels only! I don't shut up or quite! How about you?
- Reducing your fuel consumption by car-pooling, walking, bicycling or using public transport, and using a renewable fuel like biodiesel where possible.
Nothing can be done when there is no global warming you have been lied to for the last twenty years . Before that is was the next ice age circa 1970's check it out .
Humans arent capable of controlling the climate due to it chaotic nature. Only recently has chaos theory been researched and if you read The book chaos by james gleik then you would understand (interesting, but dense)
Global Warming cannot be tackled at the individual level alone. True, every drop makes up the ocean and if every individual starts to make conscious decisions to avoid private gas guzzlers and starts to commute by mass transit or shared transportation it will help reduce the release of green house gases and help cut the heat emission of cars, but this will not be enough. By some accounts it is already too late, some studies suggest that cutting back on green house gas emissions is not any longer sufficient to stop the melting of the ice. Try and get involved politically and vote green. Also make your elected representative in government know that the environment matters to you. It is important that we realize that Global warming affects us all.
