Protists are the simplest eukaryotes. Protists may be unicellular or multi-cellular. But multi-cellular protists do not posses complex tissues as that of plants and animals. All organelles are present in the cell of protists. There are some protists which have plant like characteristics for example algae. They have chloroplast in the cell to produce food. Some protists have the characteristics which are similar to that of animals for example, protozoa. They are very small in size therefore, they cannot be seen by naked eye. There are some protists which have characteristic similar to fungi for example, slime molds and water molds.
Protists are a highly diverse group of Eukaryotic organisms
-Can be either multi-cellular or Unicellular
-Reproduce through mitosis-->asexually or sexually
3 MAIN TYPES OF PROTISTS
1) Fungi-like Protists
-known as slime moulds
-group together to create a larger slimy mold, like a blob and work together
2) Animal Protists
-heterotrophs-herbivore or carnivore
-motile
-An amoeba
3)Plant Protists
-Chloroplasts that perform photosynthesis--> are autotrophs
-responsible for much of the oxygen in the earths atmosphere
- Red Algae.
Sorry, hard to be brief when trying to define a whole kingdom.

They live in Water. They are micro Organisms. It is formed by a single cell. They can be unicellular or multicellular, They are so small they cannot be seen by the naked eye.
Actually they have lots of characteristics of protists but I think Protozoa is a one characteristics of protist because according to the 1st who introduce the PROTOZOA it refers to the organisms such as cillaties and corals ...... But all characteristics is major.....
Protists are usually not circular in shape whilst bacteria are
You all suck eggs!!! Answer the question!!!!!!
Protists do not have complex tissues and take on traits similar to those of other organisms near them
Eukaryotic,Uni-Multi-Cellular, some have chlorophyll and some don't, some make their own food and some don't
They are aerobic
They are allergic to eye shadow.
Humans get them through drinking water polluted with human waste
You all suck this is the worst website ever you can't answer one easy question
Have a cell wall?
