Stockholm is located on the east coast of Sweden at the mouth of Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. It is also the capital of Sweden and the biggest city in the Nordic countries. This capital mainly comprises of 14 islands, all part of the archipelago. It is the dwelling of the Swedish head of state, King Carl XVI Gustaf and also the location of its Government and Parliament.
