If you are planning to sell the scrap brass that you have on to a scarp yard, you should not expect to get too much money from it as the scrap yard needs to try and make a profit. The prices are going to be different for everywhere that you go to, so you are going to have to shop around for the best price that you can get. However, the average is around $1 for every 1lb that you have. There are around 2lbs in a 1kg and therefore you are only going to be getting $2 in some places.

This is only a rough idea of what some places might be able to offer to you. If you can find somewhere that can offer you a better price you can be sure that they are not going to offer you too much more, but it is likely to be better than what you are going to get at some places.

It all depends on how much scrap brass that the scrap yard is interested in having as this is going to determine how much they are willing to give you for it. If the scrap yard isn't that interested you can expect the $1 price mark, however, if the scrap yard is interested you can be sure that you may be able to get a little bit more than you were first expecting even if it is still not a good price.

You can call the different scrap yards that are in your area if you think that they are going to offer you different prices and see what they can give to you for the scrap bass. You ca get the different phone numbers that you are going to need off the internet easily and quickly with a simple search.
