Teesside is a metropolis that is located in North East England. It comprises of the towns mainly Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar and surrounding settlements. The urban sub areas that come under this metropolis are Billingham, Eston and South Bank, Ingleby, Middlesbrough, Redcar, Stockton-on-Tees and Thornaby. The Teesside postal region is also called 'Cleveland postal area' by Royal Mail.

The main diet of Teesside comprises of Parmesan, or better known as Parmo. This favourite delicacy was first prepared by Europa Restaurant in Middlesbrough in the North East of England. It is usually served with chips and a choice of salad, coleslaw or creamed cabbage. Some of its famous varioties include Parmo Hotshot, Parmo Kiev, Parmo Italia, Parmo Bolognese and meat feast parmo.
