There are many more than just 15 branches of Science today; instead there are more than 100 known ones. They cover numerous aspects of science from biology to astrophysics, researching into every imaginable thing that surrounds us, on Earth and beyond. For instance, some also include botany, climatology, microbiology, nuclear physics, genetics, taxonomy, radiology and petrology.

One example of a branch of Science is aerodynamics, which is concerned with how air moves and how it interacts with other objects. It was created as a sub field of both gas and fluid dynamics. Many properties are considered when measuring aerodynamics, including pressure, density, temperature and velocity of an object. Equations then determine the aerodynamics of an object and it has been used practically, with the help of mathematical analysis, to aid airplane production.

Another branch is biology, a natural science concerned with the study of organisms and life forms, incorporating other branches such as taxonomy. It looks at how animals and other life forms grow, reproduce and evolve, searching for more information about things we are yet to explain. Using biology can be helpful for wildlife as it helps us understand animals and their habitats better, leading us to prevent extinction.

Science and its many branches have proven absolutely indispensable for many aspects of both human and animal life. It has helped us venture into curing many illnesses that have wiped out humans in past generations and will continue allowing us to maintain healthier lifestyles, living longer and getting the best that we can out of life. This is why Science should be taken seriously at school as there can never be too many scientists with the vast amount of avenues that need exploring and deciphering. Without Science, we probably wouldn't be here today!
