Scientific name is a binomial nomenclature and it is given to the living things to distinguish them on the basis of their species. Usually it is kept on the name of the person who found the specific specie or the place where it is found. There are three rules on the basis of which scientist name the living things:
  1. Name has two parts, first part is the genera and the second name is specie name
  2. It is written in Italics or in Bold letters
  3. First part of the name has capital alphabet while second name does not have any capital alphabet
